Job Title: Care Assistant
Location: Thornbury, Bristol
Salary: £12.10ph + extra at weekends
Hours: Full-time, Shift-based- 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Job Description:
We are currently seeking three Care Assistants to join our client and help provide exceptional care to our clients. In this role, you will support individuals with daily activities, promoting their independence, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and assisting with toileting.
- Support with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
- Assist with medication management and monitor any changes in the client’s health.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding where required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure effective communication with the wider care team.
- Ensure that needs are met in accordance with care plans and individual preferences.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable individual with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
- Enhanced DBS check (this will be arranged for you).
