Job Description
Job Title:Domiciliary Care Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
Support clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Assist with mobility and transfer, using any necessary equipment safely.
Administer medication as required, following care plans and protocols.
Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the care coordinator.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of each client visit.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of domiciliary or related care experience in the UK.
Own reliable transportation and a valid driving licence, essential for travel between client homes.
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach.
Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.
Relevant care certifications are a plus, but full training can be provided.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
