Job Description
Now Hiring: Full-Time Carer –Thornbury (BS35)
Location: Thornbury (BS35)
Hours: Full-time – 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts, 8am–8pm)
Pay: £12.70 per hour (with weekend & bank holiday enhancements)
Shifts: Includes alternate weekends
Important: No sponsorship available. Applicants on visas must have at least 18 months remaining.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Carer, you’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to elderly residents. Responsibilities include:
Supporting residents with personal care needs
Assisting with daily routines, meals, and hydration
Ensuring dignity, respect, and individual care plans are upheld
Assisting with basic clinical procedures under nursing supervision
Working collaboratively with the care team to maintain a positive, safe, and supportive environment
Attending all required training and development sessions
Who We’re Looking For

Ideal candidates will have:
Experience working with the elderly (care home experience is a plus)
A Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
A genuine passion for providing excellent care
Reliability, compassion, and a strong work ethic

Must be able to work alternate weekends
