Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver – Permanent Position
Location: Coalville (LE67)
4 on / 4 off shift pattern
Curtainsider – General Haulage
£38,918 per annum
We’re hiring Class 1 Drivers for a permanent position in Coalville, working a 4 on / 4 off rota. This is general haulage on curtainsiders, with both day and night shifts available.
Whether you’ve got 1+ year of Class 1 experience, or 6+ months with Class 2 background, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a Class 1 HGV to deliver goods across multiple locations
Complete vehicle checks and maintain safe operation
Self-manage paperwork and delivery documentation
Ensure all work is done safely and on time
What You’ll Need:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
CPC & Digital Tachograph
Minimum 1 year’s experience (or 6 months + Class 2 experience)
A strong understanding of safety and compliance
Good communication & reliability
