Join Our Client as an HGV Class 2 Driver!
Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a new opportunity? We're seeking reliable and skilled drivers to become part of our dynamic team! If you have a passion for driving and want to be a vital part of our delivery network, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver goods to customers on time and safely.
- Ensure that deliveries are made according to the scheduled routes and in compliance with road safety regulations.
- Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
- Load and unload goods as required, ensuring secure and safe transportation of cargo.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised vehicle.
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction with deliveries.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
- Driver CPC qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
- A clean driving record (preferred but not essential).
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 driver (preferred, but training may be provided for the right candidate).
- Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime if necessary.
- Ability to lift and carry goods, and operate a tail lift when required.
