Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team, on a temp/adhoc basis.
- Deliveries: Completing scheduled drops per day to commercial and/or residential locations.
- Route Planning: Efficiently plan and follow delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at each stop.
- Loading and Unloading: Secure and load goods accurately at the start of the day, ensuring all items are safely unloaded at each delivery point.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and friendly manner with customers during deliveries, providing high-quality service.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and health and safety regulations.
- Vehicle Checks and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip checks, reporting any vehicle issues for maintenance.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence (Tipper)
- CPC Qualification: Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence.
- Experience in Multi-drop Deliveries: Previous experience with multiple drops is highly advantageous.
- Good Knowledge of [Region/Local Roads]
- Customer-Focused Attitude
- Physically Fit: Ability to lift and move heavy goods as required.
